(Friday, 30th September, 1904. Before E. Stone Fi.ohance, S.M.) Civil Cases. Lui Bakalich v. Pauro Henare; claim £2 7/1; settled out of court. A. McKay v. Wi Manuel; claim for £3 7/10; judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed less 8/2, with costs. W. Rogers v. Smith and Caughey; claim £2 7/6; settled out of court. R. M. Houston v. Refi Hepa; claim £l3 13/10; judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Toni Jurlini v. Ante Diginovic, Ante Govorko Grgin, Ivan Katarich Jurin, Nigo Katavioh Grgin, Ivan Mijalivioh Antin, Mati Vaknsioa Pok Stip, Marioni Glavas Petroi, and Ivan Bevich Pok Petra; claim £7 each. All these actions were by consent taken together, and after the hearing, of a considerable amount of evidence, were adjourned until the next sitting of the S.M. Court, for the purpose of heuring legal points raised by defendants’ counsel. Erina Wiroa Tahcre v. Paki Ripia; claim £2; judgment for plaintiff by default, with costs. Mangonui County Council v. William Taylor, William Flecker, Clementina 8. Bracey, J. Newman, Joseph Pennington, Henry Nigus, William Forsyth, Henry Fullerton, Gillespie, and Hugh Brown. Thlrfwas an action brought by the Mangonui County Council against the defendants, as absentees, for the recovery of rates. Judgment was given for plaintiff in all cases, with costs. A Prohibition Order. An application was made for the issue of a prohibition order against Frank Fraser. Application grantod. Affiliation Case. Sopbia Harrison v. Edward Harrison, for failing to support bis wife and child, being a breach of Section 16 of the Destitute Persons Act, 1894. Adjourned till next, sitting of the S.M. Court. Order made of 10/- per week pending the rehearing. Pensions. The following pensions were granted: Merenau Mure £lB, Rena Tukariri £lB, Kftti Hohaia £l4.
