(Scohrnxmtnt Notices, ELECTION OF TWO TRUSTEES UNDER THE "NELSON TRUST FUNDS ACT." Pboyince of Nelsox to wit. WHEREAS a WRIT, under the haud of his Honor Edward William Stafford, Esquire, Superintendent ,of the Province of Nalson, bearing date the Second day of October instant, hath been directed to me, John Poynter, Esquire, Resident Magistrate and Returning Officer for the Province of Nelson, requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the voters duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, and in manner and form by law prescribed, TWO PERSONS to serve as TPvUSTEES under the Nelson Trust Funds Act, in the place of Alfred Christopher Picard, Esquire, deceased, and of William Oldfield Cautley, Esquire, whose seat is vacant from non-attendance for six months at tho Board without leave of abifenee. Now, therefore, I, the said John Poynter, do hereby, in pursuance of the said Writ, and of the Proclamation of his Honor the Superintendent, give notice, that the Nomination of Two Members to be elected under the said Act, will take place at Noon, at tho Courthouse, Nelson, on Tuesday, tho Sixth day of November next; and in the event of a Poll being demanded, I hereby give notice that I will adjourn tho Election to Tuesday/, the 20th of November, for the Polling to take place. The Polling to commence at Ten o'clock in the forenoon, and close at Four o'clock in the afternoon of the same day. JohnJPoynter, Olficer. To make Three Bridges, with approaches, on the road leading from Dr. Monro's, to the Moutere Hills, Waimea West. To erect a Bridge near the School-house, on Section No. -36, Waimea West.-. Tenders will also be received from Parlies desirous of undertaking Carting in the Town of Nelson, by the day.
