Sir — I beg to suggest that the " Ordinance to prevent Injury and Nuisance by Dogs," published last week, would, in my humble opinion, be much more effectual were Sections 2 and 3 to read as follows : —

2. All dogs to be annually registered therein, beyond the age of months, between the first and the of in every year.
