COLONIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Hobart Town. — The latest date by the Sisters is November 3d. There is no later English news than what we have already given. The markets continue much depressed, and a colonial corn-law is spoken of as the only remedy. A hot wind had seriously damaged vegetation, * and much sickness prevailed from the sudden and great change of temperature. We have also received Melbourne papers to . the 4th of October, and Portland to the 23d of September. We have no room for extracts thit week, or we would copy an extract fromth* Port Phillip Gazette on the proposed redaction in the civil expenditure of New South Waits. >
