PUBLIC HOUSE LICENSES.
We call the attention of all persons whom it may concern to an advertisement in another column, giving notice that application for licenses must be sent in by Tuesday, next. We do this because the time giveij appears to be very short, without attaching any blame to those who issue the notice. It is possible' that the delay has been unavoidable. The first Tuesday in April is, we believe, 'the day fixed by law for the purpose.
