GREEK CHILDREN STARVE
London, Sept. 25. In two months alone nine out of every 10 newly born children in Athens died of starvation, said Dr. Cawadias, chairman of the Greek Red Cross Society in London. Out of 300.000 children living in Athens and Piraeus when Greece was attacked 100.000 had died of starvation and malnutrition. There was no milk for children left alive, because all the cattle had been killed by the invaders.
