j Town Clerk of Rotorua since its inception as a borough over 19 years ago, Mr W. A. McLean has resigned. A.C.I Norman A. Burt, of Howard, Murchison, lias advised his parents thal he has completed his radio mechanics course, and is now on an operational station somewhere in Scotland. Mr R. P. Furness, who in June lasl entered on his 21st year of office as President of the Marlborough Automobile Association, was re-elected to thal position at the annual meeting this week. High tributes were paid to his work and the keenness of his interest in motoring matters.
