GIFT FROM MR CHURCHILL London, Oct. 15. The mention in despatches for conspicuous bravery during a naval action in the East of a 17-year-old sailor brings an echo of Mr Churchill's historic meeting with President Roosevelt in the Prince of Wales. The sailor Terry O’Brien, was the Prime Minister’s night messenger in the Princa ol Wales, and when Mr Churchill Itfl the ship he presented the lad wi..h an autographed ten shilling note. Since then O’Brien has been in three ships which have been torpedoed and sunk and he has oe m rescued from the sea each time.
