NELSON PHILOSOPHICAL SOCIETY
LECTURE AND ANNUAL MEETING ON MONDAY EVENING In the Nelson Institute, Hardy street on Monday evening, at 8 o’clock the Nelson Philosophical Society will hold its annual meeting. Following the presentation of the annual report and balance sheet, and the election of officers for the coming year, Mr T. A. Glendinning M.Sc., F.1.C., of the staff of the Nelson Boys’ College, will deliver an illustrated address on “Fermentation and its Application to Arts and Industries.*’ In view of the intimate connection of fermentation with so many of the industrial activities of the present day, the subject should prove of wide interest, not only to the members of the society, but also to the general public, who are cordially invited to attend.
