I Members must hold themselves in j | readiness to report for duty on the I sounding of the alarm signal. Any I member absent without leave will be liable to disciplinary action under the j Regulations. Leave of absence, if necessary on ac- 1 count of illness or essential war work, must be obtained by application to the . Unit Controller prior to noon on Saturday. sth September ALL CLEAR; The All Clear Signal will be sounded three-quarters of an hour after the ala.rrn. but E.P.S. members MUST remain on duty until dis missed by Unit Controller. Commercial Street will be closed to all traffic, with the exception of E.P.S. authorised vehicles, for about one hour after the alarm. At the sounding of the “All Clear” residents are directed to “STAND BY” for an Evacuation Practice. The Central Committee appeals for the loyal co-operation of all Sections of the community in this trial, which has for its object essential training for the preservation of life and property during any possible emergency.
