New York. Aug. 31 The playwright Clare Booth Luce i: going to stand for Congress. She w.l seek Republican nomination os the representative for Connecticut. Clare Booth became well known frotr her play “The Women.” which ran foi 600 performances on Broadway. Sht married Henry Luce, founder and proprietor of “Time” and “Fortune” anc other periodicals which made him f millionaire.
