JAPANESE AFFAIRS DISCUSSED
(Rec. J 1.30 a.m.) Rugbv, Sept 2 At a meeting of the Pacific War Council to-day the resignation of the Japan esc Foreign Minister. Mr Togo, was discussed, according to a statement by Lord Halifax. British representative. There was also some discussion as tu possible Japanese strategy. Lord Halifax added that President Roosevelt gave encouraging estimates of relative air losses in the Solomons. 8.0. W.
