INDIAN WAR PRODUCTION
REMARKABLE RISE DESCRIBED (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) Rugby, Sept. 2. The remarkable rise in Indian war production is described in a New Delhi message which says that in the first year of the war India executed war orders to the value of 830.000.000 rupees, in the second year 1,650.000.000 rupees, and in the third year 3.650,000,000 rupees. At the present time 300,000,000 rupees’ worth of high explosives are manufactured monthly.—B.O.W.
