TRIAL TO BE MADE IN U.S. New York, Sept 2. The War Production Board has determined that the Kaiser plan for the production of heavy cargo-carrying planes will get a trial despite the re- ' ported antipathy of the armed services, says the Washington correspondent of the “New York Times.” Informed officials asserted that if aluminium were unprocurable because of Army and Navy priorities for combat planes, the War Production Board would experiment with steel board, and was likewise prepared to build cargo planes by subcontracting sections in small shops throughout the country after which the Kaiser Company would assemble them. —P.A ___________
