OCCASIONAL SHOWERS Wellington, This Day The indications are for moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly winds. The weather will probably prove changeable with occasional showers, chiefly in the western high country, but fair periods. Temperatures moderate. The further outlook shows similar conditions.
The weather remained fine yesterday, the sun shining for 10 hours 2 minutes, but rain set in during the night, and heavy showers totalling 45 points fell. The night was mild, and the weather to-day was still uncertain, though the morning was partly sunny.
