DAY OF PRAYER TO-MORROW

CHURCH AND CIVIC SERVICES The National Day of Prayer to-mor-iow will be observed by all churches iin Nelson. Most churches will be open 1 all day for the use of those desiring to spend time in private prayer, and as well short services have been arranged for various times during the day. In addition to the services which will be held in the churches two short services of intercession will be held in the City Council Chambers, the first from j !2.45 to 1 o’clock, and the second ■ from 2 o'clock to 2.15. These services I will be conducted by members of the Nelson Ministers’ Association. A civic service of intercession will be held at Motueka at noon, in the Methodist Church, and this will be attended by the Mayor. Mr W. J. Eginton and councillors and their wives.
