Butler admitted that he had been operating a small doubles chart rutd laying io to 2s on any horses a*. a recent race i .ecting. He had been taking bets in a city hotel when accosted. "Did anyone win a double?” asked the magistrate. Accused; I don’t know: the police Look my book. Butler war fined £5.
