FAIR TO FINE Wellington, This Day. The indications are for moderate northerly winds predominating, weather fair to tine, cool night but mild day temperatures. The further outlook shows occasional rain in the west but mainly fair elsewhere.
A further 24 points of rain fell yesterday morning, but in the afternoon the weather cleared and turned out hot and sunny. A cool night followed, there being a frost of nearly 2 degrees ; To-day was gloriously sunny and calm.
