GENERAL WITHDRAWAL COMMENCED LUNCHEON GIVEN BY EMPEROR (Rec. 10.15 a.m.) Rugby, Aug. 31. When British troops left Addis Ababa earlier this month the Emperor gave a luncheon at which all the members of the British force were presented to Haile Selassie. The Emperor then in-
spected the troops, who represent the first of an almost general withdrawal. The new Ethiopian Minister to London, Mr Belata Ayalla Gabre, arrived yesterday. He was for many yearns Director of Customs.—B.O.W.
