MALTA CONVOY BATTLE

NEW ZEALANDERS’ SUCCESSES (Rec. 12.35 p.m.) London, Aug. 31. New Zealanders serving in the Fleet Air Arm operated from aircraft-car-riers which were part of the. force involved in the recent Malta convoy battle. Sub-Lieutenant F. Pennington, of Wellington, shot down two Italians, and Sub-Lieutenants Hugh Morrison, of Masterton, and D. Hill, of Wellington, shot down one each.—PA. Special Correspondent.
