LOYAL HOWARD LODGL Quarter night of Loyal Howard Lodge opened with M.N.G. Bro. C. Reynish in the chair. An application from Bro. Shallcra<s for transfer to Otahuhu. Auckland district, was granted. An invitation to at ! tend the next meeting of the Loyal Nelson Lodge was accepted. P.G. Bro. W. Anderson reported that he had received a letter from P.G. Bro. Cross overseas, who was safe and well. The district sick visitor L.M. Bro. G. Housiaux reported that Bro. Cox. of Loyal Motueka Lodge, was a patient in I the Public Hospital, j Thanks were expressed to Mrs W. Anderson and P.G. Bro. W. Anderson for the gift of mourning regalia. The M.N.G. welcomed to the lodge P.G. Bro. R. Twort who recently returned from overseas and was now on special leave. He was congratulated on his en gagement to Sister B. Banks, now in Wellington. On lodge closing, supper was served and indoor bowls were, played.
