WARTIME INFORMATION SERVICES

REORGANISATION IN CANDA Ottawa, Aug. 27. Canada’s wartime information services are to be reorganised and strengthened and a new board, to be known as the Wartime Information Board, will assist in the distribution of Canadian war news and information in Canada as well as in the United States and other countries. This Board will absorb the present Bureau of Public Information whichwillcea.se to exist as such. The Board, with headquarters in Ottawa, will have officers in New York and Washington and in such other centres as may be found advisable. Charles Vining, president of the Newsprint Association of Canada will be chairman | of the Board, and the Hon. Phillippe Brais, K.C.. of Montreal, will be vicechairman. Mr Brais relinquishes his present position as Minister without Portfolio in the Quebec Cabinet to assume his new post.
