Wellington, This Day. At Hawera the totalisator handled £24,916 10s, compared with £22,923 on the Saturday of last year's two-day meeting held at New Plymouth, an increase of £1993 10s. Results at Auckland were £73,867 19s a record for a one-dav meeting at Epsom— against £46,417 10s, an increase of £27,250. Addington took £76,041 10s, against £52,503 10s on the first day (Saturday) of last year's meeting—P.A.
