Temperatures moderate. The further outlook is for westerly winds, weather changeable ana cooler, with showers mainly in the west. On Saturday and Sunday nights frosts were experienced in Nelson, the minimum temperatures being 26.3 and 28.0 degrees respectively. However, the weather at the week-end was fine with bright sunshine and practically no wind. The bright sunshine recorded on Saturday was 9 hours 20 minutes and on Sunday 10 hours 20 minutes.
