ALLIED AIR FORCE IN INDIA
ARRIVAL OF AMERICAN REINFORCEMENTS New York, Aug. 27. The Karachi correspondent of the “New York Times” reports that additional pilots and crews of the American Air Force arrived to-day. thus swelling the evergrowing air strength of the United Nations in India. The correspondent adds that many obscure villages here are transformed into vast military camps and airfields. Indeed, one field whose name must not be mentioned has become an aerial crossroad of Ye world.—P.A.
