WAIMEA WEST PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
The Waimea West Patriotic Committee held its final euchre tournament when the aggregate prizes were won by Miss W. Palmer and Mr S. O’Hara. At the end of the evening Mr S. O’Hara, chairman of the committee, thanked those present for their support especially as the weather had been wet for most of the euchre nights. Whilst stressing the necessity for the money for funds he gave a reminder that there would be an annual canvass in the district before the end of September.
