STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR Gisborne, This Day. Overtaken and struck by a motor car as she was about to cross a bridge last evening Miss Isabel Dalgeish Miller, aged 23. was killed instantaneously. De ceased was a well-known hockey player and had represented Poverty Bay for several years. A sequel to the accident was heard in he Magistrate’s Court this morning when Thomas George Atchison, aged 31, storekeeper, was charged with negligent driving calling death, and reminded until W^dnesdav.—P.A.
