MATCHES IN BRITAIN
SHORTAGE EXPECTED
(Rec. 11.0 a.m.) Rugby, Aug. 28. Match consumption in Britain is about half the pre-war but a severe shortage is now anticipated. The output of utility lighters reached 80,000 during the past two weeks and it Is hoped soon to reach the target figure of 100,000 weekly.—B.O.W.
