INTERCESSION

The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is - 1 w"'nst them that do evil. Who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But, if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye; be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. (I. Peter iii:l2-14.)

ETERNAL GOD, Who throughout the ages hast led men by Thy Spirit, and hast weld d them together as mighty nations; grant us the larger vision of world brotherhood and mankind at peace. As we are bound together by commerce, by science, by art, and by travel, so may we be united in spirit, respecting each other's gifts and supplying each other’s needs. May this vision of Thy Kingdom on earth inspire those who fight that evil may be destroyed.
