PROPHECY FULFILLED
SPEECH BY LORD ROBERTS RECALLED (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON. 21st January. A remarkable prophecy of the late Lord Roberts has been revealed by the “Morning Post” which says it is now a matter of history how Lord Roberts warned his countrymen to prepare for a frightful war in Europe, but it is not so well known that in a speech at Quebec six years before the war be predicted that defeat would be near but the war would be finally won by the genius of a French General named Ferdinand Foch, a Professor at a Paris military school.
