WAYS OF THE WILD
If the rising generation directed their thoughts more in the direction of nature study, including the wondrous ways of our native birds and animals, they would not be likely to feel lonely when not in the company of their kind, or when wholly on their own resources, wish the time to pass quickly, writes Mr George Mclver in the “Sydney Morning Herald.” Most of us have an innate love of the beautiful, and fortunately more leisure time than ever before. All over the world to-day one of the great problems is to make the most of, or, in other words, to derive the maximum of happiness from our little lives. There are many and' diverse avonues offering, but I think the love of the beautiful and study of nature overwhelms them all.
