BRANCH RAILWAY TO BE CLOSED
(By Telegraph—Press Association) GISBORNE, This Day. Advice has been received that the Ngatapa branch of railway will be closed for traffic in the next few weeks, the reason being the cessation of metal transport on the line owing to the stoppage of the Gisborne-Waikokopu line reducing the traffic to a negligible quantity.
