BANK CLERK’S SUICIDE
TOO MUCH SUN BATHING? (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. With a note alongside him stating that his head felt “funny,” and wishing good-bye to his family, Joseph Alexander Cupnningham, accountant, employed at the Union Bank of Australia, was found dead yesterday evening in a gas-filled room at his home at St. Albans. A verdict of suicide by gas poisoning was' returned by the Coroner,. Mr Mosley, this morning. It is believed that deceased, who had been sun bathing a good deal, had suffered a touch of sunstroke.
