.JUNIOR COMPETITIONS On Saturday the last junior match of I,lie season, for the James Fry Memorial Cup was played at the Lower Moutere courts, when Lower Moutere won from Ngatimoti by 12 sets to 4. Lower Moulere has the distinction of winning all competition matches (10), which they have played this season. In the first “ound Lower Moutere won five matches, making them winners of the Mander Cup ; and by winning five matches in the second round, completed on Saturday, the Fry Memorial Cup also goes to them. Particulars of play are as under: — Combined Doubles.—W. Starnes and Mrs Blake v. Brereton and Miss Bland 6-3; K. Taylor and Mrs Starnes v. Gardiner and Miss Haycock 5-6; Richards and Mrs Richards v. Waghorn and Miss Heath 6-3; W. Starnes and Miss Morrison v. Brereton and Miss Brereton 6-0. Ladies’ Doubles. —Mesdames Blake and Starnes v. Misses Bland and Haycock 5- ; Miss Morrison and Mrs Richards v. Misses Heath and Brereton 6-3. Men’s Doubles. —Starnes and Taylor v. Brereton and Gardiner 6-0: Taylor and Richards v. Gardiner and Waghorn 6Ladies’ Singles.—Mrs Blake v. Miss Bland 6-2; Mrs Starnes v. Miss Haycock 4-6; Miss Morrison v. Miss Heath 0-6; Mrs Richards v. Miss Brereton 6-3. Men’s Singles.—Starnes v.
