Vanderbilt, of New York, to his daughter Consuelo, when she married the Duke of Marlborough. The magnificent salons, some entirely of marble, will bo used as showroms. The price mentioned is about £150.000. Cur/on House, the town house of Lord Howe, from whose family name Cur/on street takes its name, is also for sale. It is a rambling mansion, consisting of three or four houses made into one. The Duke and Duchess of York took it as a winter residence in 1025. It was their first town house. It is expected that it will be pulled down and offices and shops built.
