SHIPMENTS OF MEAT The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board is advised by cable from its Condon office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the month of December were as follows: — . _ Australia: Carcases mutton 11,930, carcases lamb 475,970, quarters beef 75,694. South America: Carcases mutton 42,205. carcases lamb 657,711. quarters beef (frozen) 22,382, (chilled) 441,060. Shipments from Patagonia, nil. Tlie shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows: —Carcases mutton 119,469. carcases lamb 352,637, quarters beef 7,684. The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe during the same period were as follows: —Mutton,. 920 tons, frozen beef 8,132 tons.
