WELLINGTON,, 15th January. Messrs W. Burbidge and Co. report having obtained the following prices for the undermentioned lines at to-day’s sales: —Apples: Astrachans 3s 6d to 6s, Beauty Bath 4s to 5s 9d, Gravensteins 3s to 4s 3d; cooking 2s 6d to 3s 4d. Nelson tomatoes: Glasshouse red 13s to 16s, coloured 13s to 14s 6d, outside firm Bs, coloured 13s • Napier Bay View tomatoes 5s to 6s lid per 101 b box. Peaches: Wiggins 8s to 10s, Briggs 7s to 9s 6d, Triumphs 6s 6d to Bs. Plums: Duthies Us to 12s, Burbanks (green) 8s to 10s, Early Rivers 9s to 10s. Black currants 6s 6d to 7s. Apricots: Nelson 9s to 9s 2d, Otago 11s to 16s. All halfcases. French beans sjjd to 6d per lb. New laid eggs Is sd, others Is 3d to Is 4d per dozen. Separator butter, bulk Bd, pats per lb.
