AIR MINISTRY NOT PARTICIPATING (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) w—> (Received 16th January, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, 15th January. ■ Despite every attempt of interested aviation circles the Air Ministry announces that it is adhering to the decision not to participate in the 1931 Schneider Cup contest. In view of the heavy expense involved it appears mostunlikely that private enterprise will be able to meet the challenge of France and Italy. •
