(United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 13th January. Mr A. J. Cook, secretary of the Miners’ Federation, was taken to hospital owing to leg trouble arising from a coal mine accident when a young man. Doctors advise amputation, but Mr Cook has not yet consented.
