FLYING BOAT SERVICE
WELT,INGTON=NELSON RUN MACHINE TO BE ASSEMBLED (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. Five large cases containing the body, wings, and engines of the Sargo-Wind-hover flying boat, which is to be engaged in the Wellington-Nelson air service, has been lying in a shed on the central wharf for over four weeks. The five cases, one of which is 40 feet in length, arrived by the Port Huon _ from England on 13th December, consigned to the Dominion Airlines Limited Company formed in Wellington last May with a nominal capital of £200,000. The Defence Department granted the. Company permission to use the facilities at the air base at Hobsoiiville to assemble the machine, and arrangements are now being made to convev the cases by barge up the harbour. The chief pilot for the Company will be G. Bolt, who is at present flying a small machine on a regular schedule between Gisborne and Hastings.
