(Received 14th January, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, 13th January. At Rugby League Keighley beat Salford by 7 6. At Soccer Northern Southport beat Halifax 5-2. Gallagher, Chelsea’s Scottish International centre forward was suspended for two months for using bad language to the referee during ji match against Grimsby on the 27th December. Gallagher was transferred from Newcastle last June, the transfer fee being £IO,OOO, the highest ever recorded.
