TEACHERS’ SUMMER SCHOOL

OPENED AT CHRISTCHURCH (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The .1931 session of the teachers’ summer school opened at Canterbury College Hall to-day, Mr. F. Milner, of Waitaki, presiding over an attendance of 300. Messages were received from the Gover-nor-General and the Hon. 11. Atmore, Minister of Education, expressing keen interest in the work of the school.

The Deputy-Mayor, Dr Thacker, and the lion. G. J. Smith, representing the College Board, welcomed the visitors.
