THE SECESSION MOVEMENT

(United Press Association—By Eleotrlo Telegraph—Copyright)

(Received 12th January, 1.15 p.m.) VANCOUVER, 10th January. Speaking at Saskatoon Mr Frank Eliason, secretary of the United Farmers of Canada, said: “Perhaps our secessionist friend was right in the contention that secession is the only hope of securing justice from the east,” when commenting on Mr Bennett’s statement that conditions in the west were exaggerated. “Never in the history of the prairies has there been such suffering through lack of food and clothing. Mr Bennett’s statement is bound to add strength to the secession movement and it will be interesting to watch developments.”
