PRICE OF WALES

VISIT TO BUENOS AIRES PREPARATIONS FOR DEPARTURE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Bth January. Preparations for the departure next week of the Prince of Wales to the Argentine, where lie is to perform the opening ceremony of the British Empire Industries Fair at Buenos Aires in March, are nearing completion. The Prince’s own Moth aeroplane, in which he hopes to undertake some of the travelling in South America has been sent to Gibraltar, where it will be transferred to the aircraft-carrier Eagle, which will visit Buenos Aires in connection with the exhibition. In addition to her normal equipment, including a flight of Faircy Flycatchers, a flight of Fairey 3F’s and a flight of Blackburn torpedo bombers, the Eagle Will carry a Ilawker-Ximrod aeroplane which lias been selected as a successor to the flycatcher and the fastest fleet fighter in the world capable of a speed of 200 miles hourly. An improved Fairey 3F will also be on board.
