LONDON, 9Lh January. The seventeen-monLhs-old mystery of the disappearance of Miss Winifred Parrant, aged 20, from her Berkshire home, has had an unexpected development, its the outcome of confidential information that she had been murdered and buried in Windsor Park. A digging party lias already discovered her attache case and blue hat, both of which have been identified by the gill’s sister. The police are considerably hampered owing to the fact that the park is over 2000 acres in area. It is stated, however, that the soldier mentioned in connection with the mystery may bo able to indicate the spot.
