Much of the romance of the gold boom days has spread itself over the little outback town of Larkmville, 350 miles from Perth, Western Australia. There a cosmopolitan population has quicklv implanted itself. Few believe that Larkinville will prove another “Golden Mile,’’ but already it has established modest fortunes for a number of people, and a substantial reward is being gained by fossickers.
