STRIKE OF SPANISH STUDENTS
ECHO OF RECENT REVOLT IMPRISONMENT OF PROFESSORS (United Press Association—By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright) ("Times” Cables) MADRID, Bth January. Students of Madrid University decided on a general strike as a protest against the imprisonment of Professor Delos Rios and others ns the result of the recent revolt.
The police made students show identity cards when classes were resumed and forbade those not carrying them to enter. Men and women students raised an uproar in the corridors where many remained instead of attending lectures, cheering the imprisoned professors.
