CHARGE PREMATURELY EXPLODES TWO WORKMEN INJURED (By telegraph—Pres* Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Two employees were injured at Paekakariki quaijry ; at 8.30 o’clock this morning, a charge exploding prematurely- William Mather, a single man, was peppered with stones all over his face and hands, suffering lacerated wounds, and both eyes were injured. lie was sent to hospital at Wellington. His condition is satisfactory. Janies Tarpey was jjynred ;<i one arm.
