SINKS WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OVER FORTY PICKED UP (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) COLOMBO, 7th January. The Norwegian steamer Tricolour came to grief on Monday afternoon and sank within five minutes of the last explosion, following an outbreak of fire. The exact locality jvas nine miles southwest of Barbaryn lighthouse. Six are dead and two injured, and include Captain Holst, Third Officer Batalden, Radio Operator Doxrud, a passenger named Solburg, and a sailor and a motorman. Forty-two were picked up by the Porthos. Several explosions were heard on the land.
