DEMONSTRATION FLIGHTS AT BUENOS AIRES EXHIBITION (British Official Wireless. RUGBY, 6th January. Plans are nearly complete for demonstration flights by British aircraft in connection with the large scale exhibition by British aircraft manufacturers at the British Empire trade exhibition at Buenos Aires in March. The de Havilan.d Company will demonstrate both Puss and Gipsy Moth models. The Westland Aircraft Works have arranged for a “Wapiti” two-seater biplane, similar to those used in the Royal Air Force, to give six weeks demonstration flights, first as a land ’plane and then as-a seaplane by the substitution of floats. MACHINE FOR THE PRINCE RUGBY, 6th January. The new de Haviland Puss Moth aeroplane which the Prince of Wales is taking with him on his South American tour, was loaded for shipment at Portsmouth yesterday.
